Updates:

Since creating the skeletal designs of our initial and final prototypes, we have created and added thermal couples to both designs.

Thermal couples are made by taking apart a wire with a plug at one end so that positive and negative strands are separated, and then refastening the wires into the plug and soldering the other end together.

The soldered end of the cord can be used to measure temperature, which will help us gauge how much more or less efficient the nested pot is than our original.

Once there is enough sunshine to do so, we will begin cooking tests to see which pot heats up the fastest, and which has the best amount of heat transfer.
